 COMMUNITY CABINET (ROTATES MONTHLY)

Random Hacks of Kindness, Jr. is a non-profit organization that brings young people hands-on learning experiences where they apply technology to achieve social good.

RHoK, Jr. offer ‘hackathons‘ for children in grades 4 – 8, matching them with local charities, along with computer science mentors, and together they devise a technological solution in the form of a mobile app, to one of the charity’s needs.  RHoK, Jr. breaks down barriers, lights sparks, and provides students inspiration, while addressing practical issues with social impact.  Patrice Gans, owner of RHoK, Jr., also offers a Girls Who Code program at the Woodbury Public Library.  https://rhokjr.org/

The Community Cabinet highlights local businesses on a monthly basis in our locked, plexiglass display case.  It’s a great way to spotlight your Woodbury business!
